2. Disconnect line (2) that goes from the master valve to the slave cylinder.3. Disconnect line (3) that goes from the rod end of the right hand tilt cylinder to the master valve.4. Remove two bolts that hold master valve (6) in cover (1) and remove the master valve with master valve drain line (5) connected. Line (5) can not be disconnected when master valve (6) is in cover (1).5. Disconnect master valve drain line (5). 6. Connect master valve drain line (5) to master valve (6).7. Put master valve (6) in position in the bucket positioner master valve cover (1). 8. Install two bolts (4) and washers to hold the master valve.9. Connect line (3) to the master valve as shown.10. Connect line (2) to the master valve.11. Fill the hydraulic tank to the correct level. See LUBRICATION AND MAINTENANCE GUIDE.Disassemble Bucket Positioner Master Valve
start by: a) remove bucket positioner master valve 1. Loosen bolt (1) and carefully remove master valve lever (3) from master valve shaft (2).2. Remove washer (5) and spring (4) from the master valve shaft. 3. Remove two fittings (6) from the side of the master valve body and remove the key from shaft (2). 4. Remove plug (7) with the O-ring seal. Inspect the O-ring seal and make a replacement if seal is damaged. 5. Remove spring (8) and ball (9) from the master valve body. 6. Remove shaft (2) from the master valve body with an arbor press. The outer bearing is also removed with shaft (2). 7. Remove retaining ring (11) from shaft (2). 8. Use tooling (A) to remove the inner bearing and seal (10). The master valve body must be turned over so that the inner bearing and the seal can be pressed through the machined end of the master valve body as shown. When the inner bearing is removed, seal (10) must be removed. Use new parts for replacement. 9. Remove plug (14) with the O-ring seal. Inspect the seal and make a replacement if damaged.10. Remove lifter (12) and valve (13).Assemble Bucket Positioner Master Valve
1. Use tool (A) and an arbor press to install the inner bearing from the top of the master valve body. Install the inner bearing to the depth where the top edge of the bearing is even with the bottom of the counterbore in the master valve body. 2. Install valve (1) and lifter (2) in the valve body. Install plug (3) and O-ring seal. Put SAE 10 oil on the O-ring before plug (3) is installed. Valve (1) must go into the body past the opening for the master valve shaft. 3. Install the outer seal with tool (A) and an arbor press. Install the seal with the lip toward the inside of the valve and even with the outside surface of the valve body. 4. Install snap ring (4) on master valve shaft (5) with tool (B). 5. Install master valve shaft (5) as shown. 6. Turn the master valve
