Install Tooling (A). Tighten Tooling (A) evenly to remove collet (7).
Repeat Step 5 and Step 6 for the lower collet.
Remove the pin and the shims.
Start the engine. Fully retract the steering cylinder. Stop the engine.
Release the pressure in the hydraulic system. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "System Pressure - Release".

Remove cover (10).

Install Tooling (A). Tighten Tooling (A) evenly to remove collet (17).
Repeat Step 17 and Step 18 for the lower collet.

Attach a suitable lifting device to steering cylinder (18). The weight of steering cylinder (18) is approximately 96 kg (210 lb).
Remove the pin and the shims from the head end of the steering cylinder.

(1) ( 6) Apply Tooling (D) to the seal grooves prior to installing the seals. (2) Apply Tooling (E) to the threads prior to assembly. Tighten the nut to a torque of 2170 220 N m (1600 160 lb ft). (3) ( 4) Lubricate the sealing lips with the lubricant that is being sealed. (5) Tighten four bolts.
