Remove the cap from the hydraulic tank. Install Tooling (A) onto the hydraulic tank. Attach an air supply hose to Tooling (A) . Apply 276 to 414 kPa (40 to 60 psi) of air. This procedure will pull vacuum on the hydraulic system.

Remove four bolts (2) , guard (3) , and open guard assembly (1) . Repeat for the opposite side.

Remove bolts (5) and position bracket assembly (4) out of the way.

Remove plate assembly (6) .

Remove clip (8) from guard (7) .
Remove cover (9) . Use two people in order to remove cover (7) and plate assembly (10) . The combined weight of cover (7) and plate assembly (10) is approximately 34 kg (75 lb). Remove bolts (11) , cover (7) , and plate assembly (10) .

Remove bolts (26) and piston motor (20) from plate (25) .Installation Procedure
Install the piston motor and fan (16) in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten nut (23) to a torque of 115 7 N m (85 5 lb ft).
Fill the hydraulic system with oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil Level - Check".
