Information:

Keep engine at LOW IDLE until operating temperature is reached.
Do not turn disconnect switch OFF with engine running.
If FLASHER does not stop when engine oil pressure builds up, stop engine. Investigate cause, and make corrections. Observe gauges and indicators frequently during operation. Gauges must be in NORMAL range, and indicators must be off.Pre-Operation Warm-up
To speed warm up, open left hand rear access door. Block air flow through the radiator.
To prevent overheating, remove blocking when engine operating temperature is reached.
To warm hydraulic oil, hold the bucket control lever in the close position for short periods (not more than 10 seconds). The warm-up time depends on the ambient temperature. The colder it is, the longer the warm-up period. If the hydraulic system is warmed by idling the engine, a general rule is:At temperatures of 32°F (0°C) or above, warm-up requires 15 minutes. At temperatures from 32° to 0°F (0° to -18°C) warm-up requires 30 minutes. At temperatures below 0°F (-18°C) or if hydraulic functions remain sluggish, a longer warm-up period may be required.
Before operating machine, be sure all indicators and gauges are functioning properly.Stop machine, lower equipment and stop engine immediately if FLASHER goes on, unless HIGH COOLANT TEMPERATURE is the cause. If HIGH COOLANT TEMPERATURE is the cause for the FLASHER coming on, and no coolant leaks are present, operate the engine at high idle with reduced load, to dissipate excessive heat.
