RADIATOR GP 3200457 - Caterpillar

1. Remove bolts (1) from support retainer. 2. Install two 1/2 " - 13 NC forcing screws (3) and remove retainer (2) from support. Remove O-ring seal from the retainer. 3. Fasten straps to the support (4) and remove it from the differential. The weight of the support is 204 kg (450 lb). 4. Put support (4) in position on the differential. 5. Install a new O-ring seal on retainer (2), then install retainer on the support with the bolts that hold it.End By:a. install rear axle housing (oscillating)Disassemble & Assemble Front Support
Start By:a. remove front support 1. Remove large O-ring seal (1) from front support bore. 2. Remove bearing (2) with a hammer and chisel.
Do not cause damage to bearing bore surface in front support.
3. Fasten a hoist and straps to the front support and put it in position in a press. 4. Install tooling (A) as shown and push bearing until it is against shoulder in front support. 5. Put clean engine oil on O-ring seal (1) and install it in support bore.End By:a. install front support
