(4) Electronic Engine ControlThe controller converts the signal from the engine speed dial (5) into a pulse width modulated signal. Then, the controller will send a signal to the governor actuator (1). The governor actuator will adjust the engine speed for the 10 positions of the engine speed dial switch. The governor actuator will use two cables (2) to control the engine speed. One cable will increase engine speed. The other cable is used to decrease engine speed.Note: The 325C series uses the ADEM III controller for the HEUI system.

Engine Speed Dial Switch of M325C MH (6) Engine speed dial switchThe engine speed dial (5) is divided into 10 positions. The governor lever position is determined in response to the position of the engine speed dial. The dial position is displayed on the character display of the monitor panel. The speed of the engine with no load for each dial position is shown in the following chart.
