3B. Inspect the high pressure fan pump discharge screens (if equipped) and inspect the kidney loop filter, as well as the case drain filter. If metal contaminants are found in these filters, the fan pump will need to be removed and repaired or replaced. Refer to KENR5573. Refer to Images1.4.1 and 1.4.2.

3C. Remove and inspect the tank screens for metal contaminants. If contamination is found in screens, the lift and tilt cylinders will also need to be tested for possible contamination (Refer to Step 8 below for details). Inspect the pilot discharge filter. If metal contaminants are found in this filter, the pilot valve will need to be removed and cleaned out as well. Refer to KENR5573. Refer to Images1.5.1 and 1.5.2.

4. IMPLEMENT PUMP INSPECTION ? Remove, repair, or replace (445-2672) (if needed). Refer to KENR5573. Refer to Image1.6.1.
4A. Disconnect all hose assemblies from the pump and remove the pump from machine.
4B. Disassemble both pump sections.
4C. Inspect for pressure plate seal damage (both rubber and nylon back-up seal). This seal will fail before other components, so this should be the first item inspected.
4D. Inspect the gear journals for signs of heat, discoloration, and surface damage.
Image1.6.1
4E. If only the pressure plate seals are damaged, clean the components, replace the seals and rebuild the pump. If there is any damage to the gear journals or other metal components, replace the pump with new one.
4F. Install the pump on the machine, according to KENR5625, and replace the O-ring seals and seals used in the hose fittings, as needed.
The pump lines should be purged of contaminants, prior to reassembly/replacement. Refer to KENR5573.
5. REPLACE THE IMPLEMENT VALVE with new 351-9905 Control Valve Group. Refer to KENR5573. Refer to Image1.8.1.
*Once the new valve and pump are installed, purge fluid and possible debris from the hoses and lines from valve. Refer to process below. Also, replace any O-ring seals or seals used in the hose fittings, as needed.

6. REMOVE AND INSPECT THE DUAL 225-2321 TILT VALVE. Refer to KENR5573.
6A. Remove the valve from the machine.
6B. Remove the spool valve from the valve assembly.
6C. Inspect the spool and inner valve body for any damage or contaminants.
6D. Clean and flush all components, hoses and lines, prior to reassembly and installation back on machine.
*Replace any O-ring seals or seals used in the hose fittings, as needed.
7. CLEAN/FLUSH AFFECTED HYDRAULIC SYSTEM (Overview)
7A. Drain the oil from the hydraulic oil tank. Refer to above.
7B. Remove and inspect all screens from the hydraulic tank, implement pump discharge, and implement pump drain. Document and report findings. Refer to above.
7C. Clean the screens and protect the screens. Then place the screens to the side.
7D. Remove and replace the implement control valve and clean the dual tilt valve. Refer to above.
7E. Flush the blade lift and tilt cylinder lines.
7F. If contaminants are found in the filters, remove all hose assemblies and tube assemblies from the control valve and dual tilt valves. Clean these parts with solvent and allow the parts to air dry. Plug
