Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the air inlet elbow. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Air Inlet Elbow - Remove and Install".
Remove the fuel injection lines. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fuel Injection Lines - Remove and Install".
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Remove breather tube (1) from the engine.
Remove coolant tube (2) from the engine.

The crankcase breather is removed for illustration purposes.
Remove eight bolts (3) from air inlet manifold (5) .
Remove tube (4) for the engine oil level gauge.

Remove air inlet manifold (5) and gasket (6) from the engine. Check the condition of gasket (6). If gasket (6) is worn or damaged, use a new part for replacement.
