Procedure To Adapt 235C (5AF1246-1739) Excavators:

(1) Hose. (2) Tube. (3) Bracket.1. Disconnect hose (1) from tube (2) at bracket (3).

(1) Hose. (2) Tube. (3) Bracket. (4) Tee. (5) Reducer. (6) Nut.2. Install tee (4) on tube (2) with the center connection of tee (4) pointed up. Connect hose (1) to tee (4). Install reducer (5) and nut (6) at center connection of tee (4). Connect hose (7) to reducer (5).

(8) Tee. (11) Hose.3. Disconnect the two pilot line from each top spring housing of the five stem control valve. Remove the fittings and install tee (8) on the left side and tee (9) on the right side. Connect the two pilot lines that were disconnected, to the center connection of tees (8) and (9). Connect hose (10) to tee (9) on the right housing and hose (11) to tee (8) on the left housing. Use a 3J1907 O-Ring Seal on tee (8) and (9).

Replace the 6F4855 O-Ring Seal before installing valve (14). Valve (14) is 6E5113 Valve, part of 6E5112 Valve. Remove the 3G8665 Valve from the 6E5112 Valve.

Install elbow (18) and connector (21) on valve (20). Use a 3J1907 O-Ring Seals on union (15), connector (21) and elbows (18).6. Connect hose (10) to elbow (18) of valve (20). Connect hose (11) to connector (21). Connect hose (7) to elbow (18) of valve (14).7. Use SENR5437 to set hydraulic pressures. Adjust pump output by turning the compensator valve adjustment screw counterclockwise approximately 5/8 of a turn.
