Introduction
The problem that is identified below does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution that is identified below.Problem
The 362-8842 Clean Emissions Module Ar may present an active code 2452-3 (DPF #1 Intake Temperature Sensor : Voltage Above Normal) within first 15 hours of the machine operation. This active code may be caused by a 341-4176 Temperature Sensor Gp or 341-4827 Temperature Sensor Gp internal failure. The temperature sensors manufactured between the date code range 1 June 2011 to 14 October 2011 are found to be defective. The temperature sensor failure is due to the following reasons:
Incorrect flux used in sensor manufacture, resulted in circuit board corrosion.Solution

Date Code Format: YYDDD - 12054 = 54th day of 2012 = 23 February 2012Replace the 341-4176 Temperature Sensor Gp or 341-4827 Temperature Sensor Gp with the same part number. Ensure that the replacement Temperature Sensor Gp has a manufacturing date code prior to 1 June 2011 or after 14 October 2011 (date code range: 11152 through 11287). The date code range is a 5-digit number and can be found on the sensor case. Refer to Illustration 1 for an example of the date code range.
