Start By:a. remove counterweight**Operation located in machine systems, Disassembly And Assembly section.
To prevent personal injury, release the pressure from the hydraulic system before any hoses are disconnected or removed.
1. Disconnect oil lines (1) from steering cylinder (2). 2. Raise the front of the machine with the bucket, and put tooling (A) in position as shown.3. Put a transmission jack under front axle (3). 4. Remove nut (4) and the bolt. Remove pin (5) from the frame.5. Lower the transmission, and then pull front axle (3) from the machine. For installation of the front axle, use the reverse order of Steps 1 through 5.
