When operating in freezing temperatures, use Caterpillar nonfreezing window washer solvent or equivalent. System damage can result from freezing.
Avoid getting dirt/debris in the window washer reservoir. Dirt may damage the washer pump and plug, the check valve, and the washer nozzles.Type 1

Window Washer Reservoir - The window washer reservoir is located under an access door on the platform on the right side of the machine. Fill the window washer reservoir through the filler opening.Avoid getting dirt/debris in the window washer reservoir. Dirt may damage the washer pump and plug the check valve and washer nozzles.Type 2

Window Washer Reservoir - The window washer reservoir is at the rear of the cab on the left side of the machine. The fluid level can be observed through the viewport on the side of the tank.Fill the window washer reservoir through the port at the top of the housing.Avoid getting dirt/debris in the window washer reservoir. Dirt may damage the washer pump and plug the check valve and washer nozzles.
