B     138-7576     Link Bracket     2    Start By:a. Remove the front axle assembly. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fixed Axle (Front) - Remove".b. Remove the axle shafts. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Axle Shaft - Remove".Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the removal procedure, clean the exterior of the component thoroughly. Cleanliness will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

Remove yoke assembly (5) .
Disconnect four hose assemblies (1), (2), (3) and (4) .

Remove bolts (7), cover (6) and shims (8) .

Typical example
Install Tooling (A) to pin (10). Remove pin (10) .
Remove O-ring seal (9) from pin (10) .

Position the fixed axle assembly in a suitable stand or on wood blocks with the pinion housing upward.
Remove 20 bolts (11) .
Remove four special bolts (12) .Note: Bolts (12) are longer.

Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to differential and bevel gear (13). The weight of differential and bevel gear (13) is approximately 415 kg (915 lb). Remove differential and bevel gear (13) .
