Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to turbocharger (13). The weight of turbocharger (13) is approximately 755 kg (1664 lb). Lift the turbocharger into position on the support. Install bolts (14) and the washers that attach the turbocharger to the support. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 475 N m (350 lb ft).

Connect temperature sensors (12) to the turbochargers.

Install new seals for the joints at the ends of elbows (8). Place the elbows and clamps (11) into position between the turbocharger and the air inlets of the aftercooler.
Coat the threads of bolts (9) and (10) with Tooling (B). Install bolts (9) and (10) for elbows (8) at the air outlets from the turbochargers.
Install clamps (11) .

Tighten clamp (7) for bellows (6) to a torque of 15 N m (11 lb ft).
Install new seals for the joint between the adapter for the exhaust manifold and the turbocharger. Coat the threads of bolts (5) with Tooling (B). Install the nuts and bolts (5). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 240 40 N m (175 30 lb ft).

Connect harness assembly (4) for the magnetic pickup.
Install oil supply tube assemblies (3) for the turbochargers.
Inspect the O-ring seals for the ends of oil drain tube assemblies (1). If the O-ring seals are damaged, install new O-ring seals. Install oil drain tube assemblies (1) .
Connect temperature sensors (2) .
Install the tube assemblies for the air outlet and the tube assemblies for the air inlet on the turbochargers.
