Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the fan guard. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fan Guard - Remove and Install".
Remove the radiator. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Radiator - Remove and Install". Note: The fan can be removed without removing the radiator.
Remove the fan drive belt. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belts - Inspect/Adjust".

Remove nuts (3). Remove fan (1). Remove extension (4) and pulley (2). Remove studs (5). Installation Procedure

Install studs (5). Position pulley (2) and extension (4). Position fan (1) and install nuts (3). Tighten nuts (3) to a torque of 22 N m (16 lb ft).
Install the fan drive belt. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belts - Inspect/Adjust". End By:
Install the radiator. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Radiator - Remove and Install".
Install the fan guard. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fan Guard - Remove and Install".
