Install O-ring seal (45) onto cartridge (44) and pin (48) into the end of the cartridge. Use the cartridge and spring washer (46) to secure coil (47) to actuator (31). Tighten the cartridge to a torque of 35 3 N m (26 2 lb ft).

Assemble retainer (37), spacer (38), spring (39), spring (40), spring (41), control spool (42), and spring (43) into actuator (31).

Use Tooling (A) and a suitable press in order to exert downward pressure on retainer (36). Install retaining ring (35) into actuator (31) in order to secure the retainer within the actuator. Slowly release the pressure from the suitable press and remove the tooling from the actuator.

Install O-ring seals (33) into actuator (31). Install large O-ring seal (34) into the center of the actuator.

Install O-ring seal (23) onto cartridge (22) and pin (26) into the end of the cartridge. Use the cartridge and spring washer (24) to secure coil (25) to actuator (11). Tighten the cartridge to a torque of 35 3 N m (26 2 lb ft).

Install retainer (16), spring (17), spring (18), spring (19), control spool (20), and spring (21) into actuator (11).
