C     138-7576     Link Bracket     2    Start By:a. Remove the rear axle assembly. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Oscillating Axle (Rear) - Remove".b. Remove the axle shafts. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Axle Shaft - Remove".Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the removal procedure, clean the exterior of the component thoroughly. Cleanliness will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

Remove bolts (1), shims (2) and cover (3) .

Install Tooling (A) to pin (5). Remove pin (5) .
Remove O-ring seal (4) from pin (5) .

Remove manifold (7) from the axle housing.
Remove clip (6) .
Remove yoke assembly (8) .

Position the oscillating axle assembly in a suitable stand or on wood blocks with the pinion housing upward.
Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to front trunnion support (9). The weight of front trunnion support (9) is approximately 87 kg (192 lb). Remove front trunnion support (9) .

Remove 20 bolts (10) .
Remove four special bolts (11) .Note: Bolts (11) are longer.
Attach Tooling (C) and a suitable lifting device to the differential and bevel gear assembly. The weight of the rear differential and bevel gear assembly is approximately 415 kg (915 lb). Remove the differential and bevel gear assembly.

Remove O-ring seal (12) .
