View of battery compartment (1) Batteries (2) Main fuse (3) Auxiliary start receptacleTwo 12 volt batteries (1) are connected in series to supply 24 volt DC power to the machine electrical system. 24 volt power is supplied to main fuse (2). Main fuse (2) protects batteries (1) from circuit overload between main fuse (2) and the electric starting motor. Auxiliary start receptacle (3) is available to jump start the machine. When jump cables are connected to auxiliary start receptacle (3) from a 24 volt DC electrical source, the machine may be started.Auxiliary start receptacle (3) may also be used as an auxiliary power outlet source to supply 24 volt DC to service equipment.
