Use the following procedure to install the hose assemblies in the air tank lines group:

Inside the engine enclosure, disconnect the old 258-4621 Hose As (A) and 289-6241 Hose As (B) .

Install the new 392-1746 Hose As (1) and 392-1747 Hose As (2) using the existing clipping point (E) behind the power box as shown in Illustration 3. Tighten the 5H-4778 Elbow (C) to a torque of 13 2 N m (115 18 lb in) and 8J-3705 Connector (D) to a torque of 30 5 N m (266 44 lb in). Hand tighten the hardware for clipping point.

Shift the clipping point (F) 70.0 mm (2.76 inch) rearward as shown in Illustration 4. Hand tighten the hardware for clipping point.

Install the 4D-7733 Clip (3), 5P-2369 Clip (4), 8T-4137 Bolt (5), 8T-4133 Nut (6), and 8T-4121 Hard Washers (7) to secure hose assemblies as shown in Illustration 5. Hand tighten the hardware for clipping point.
Rotate the clipping point (G) upward and shift 40.0 mm (1.57 inch) along dust ejector hose, towards the center of the machine as shown in Illustration 5. Ensure that there is no contact between the hoses and fuel filter base. Hand tighten the hardware for clipping point.

Route the two hose assemblies through the existing grommets (L) and clipping point (K) following the old routings at the top of the machine as shown in Illustration 6. Torque the 2D-8910 Elbow (H) to 30 5 N m (22 4 lb ft) and 4S-7606 Elbow (J) to 13 2 N m (10 1 lb ft). Hand tighten the hardware for clipping point.
Perform final adjustments to ensure that no rub exists with the new routing. Torque all clipping point hardware to 55 10 N m (41 7 lb ft).
