Make sure that the engine is not running. Attach a piece of reflective tape (1) to the vibratory shaft (2) .

Located Above the Hydraulic Tank
Tighten the needle valve.Note: The vibratory system will not run when the parking brake control is in the ON position. When the needle valve is tightened, the brakes will stay applied with the parking brake control in the OFF position.
Start the engine and run the engine at full RPM. Release the parking brake control.

Place vibratory control switches (3) and (4) in the ON position.
Turn the flow control knob counterclockwise to the maximum setting.Note: The vibratory system will not operate in the NEUTRAL position.
Slowly move the propel lever in the forward direction.Note: When the needle valve is tightened, the brakes will remain applied and the machine will not move.
Use 1U-6602 Phototach and record the speed of the vibratory shaft (2). The speed should be 3000 300 RPM.
Loosen the needle valve in order for the brakes to operate normally.
