Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, thoroughly clean all parts in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Do not use wiping cloths of rags to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement. Dirt and other contaminants can damage the precision component. Perform assembly procedures on a clean work surface. Keep components covered and protected always.Note: Check the O-ring seals, the gaskets, and the seals for wear or for damage. Replace the components, if necessary.Note: Lubricate the internal components with the lubricant that is being sealed.

Install O-ring seal (26) to plug (24).
Install O-ring seal (25) to plug (22).
Install O-ring seals (24) to plugs (19) and (20).
Install O-ring seals (23) to check valves (17) and (18).

Install plugs (19), (20), (21) and (22).
Install check valves (17) and (18). Torque valves to 100 10 N m (75 7 lb ft).

Install O-ring seals (12), (13), (14), (15) and (16) to valve (9).
Install O-ring seal (11) to plug (8).
Install O-ring seals (10) to check valves (6) and (7).

Install check valves (6) and (7). Torque valves to 100 10 N m (75 7 lb ft).
Install plug (8).
Install valve (9). Torque valve to 160 3 N m (118 2 lb ft).

Install O-ring seals (4) and (5) to both of the check valves (1) and (2).

Install check valves (1) and (2) to secondary steering diverter valve (3). Torque valves to 550 80 N m (400 60 lb ft).
