This Program can only be administered after a failure occurs. The decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS0969" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. Use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.
This Revised Service Letter replaces the July 3, 1996 Service Letter. Changes have been made to the Affected Product.

The front wheel bearings may be found loose with no shims behind the retainer on certain 12H, 14H, 16H, 120H, 135H, 140H, and 160H Motor Graders.

Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.

If the front wheel bearings are loose, and there are no shims behind the retainer, remove the spindles and remove material the dimensions shown in chart. After the spindle has been machined to the correct length, install and adjust the bearings to the specifications given in the Service Manuel.
