9U-7531 Tube Assembly 2 Start By:
Connect the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect" for the machine that is being serviced.
Remove the rear platforms. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Operator Platform - Remove" for the machine that is being serviced.
Position suitable blocks in front of the front tires and behind the front tires.

Position suitable block (1) between the axle housing and the frame on both sides of the machine in order to prevent the axle housing from oscillating.

Position Tooling (A) under the frame on both sides of the machine, as shown.
Use Tooling (A) to raise the rear of the machine until the tires are off the ground.
Lock Tooling (A) in position with locking ring (2).

Attach a suitable lifting device to tire (4), as shown. The combined weight of tire (4) and the rim is approximately 815 kg (1800 lb).
Remove bolts (3) and the washers from the rim.
Remove tire (4) and the rim as a unit.
Repeat Steps 6 through 8 for the removal of the remaining rear tire.Installation Procedure

Thoroughly clean the contacting surfaces of the rim assembly and the axle housing.

Attach a suitable lifting device to tire (4), as shown. The combined weight of tire (4) and the rim is approximately 815 kg (1800 lb).
Install tire (4) and the rim as a unit.
Install bolts (3) and the washers in the rim. Tighten bolts (3) to a torque of 1000 125 N m (738 92 lb ft).
Repeat Steps 2 through 4 for the installation of the remaining rear tire.

Remove locking pin (2) from Tooling (A).
Lower the machine to the ground and remove Tooling (A).

Remove suitable block (1) from both sides of the machine.
Remove the suitable blocks from the front tires.End By:
