1. Remove the nut and lockwasher that hold yoke (1) on the shaft. Move the yoke to the side. Remove the key from the shaft.2. Remove the two retaining rings and pins from coupling (2). Slide the coupling back from the transfer gear. 3. Remove bolts (3) that hold the housing for the transfer gear on the frame.4. Remove the housing for the transfer gear.Install Circle Reverse Transfer Gear Housing
1. Put the housing for the transfer gear on the frame and install the bolts. 2. Slide the coupling on the shaft and install pins (1) and retaining rings.3. Install the key on the top shaft of the transfer gear.4. Install the yoke, nut and lockwasher.Disassemble Circle Reverse Transfer Gear Housing
start by: a) remove circle reverse transfer gear housing 1. Remove plug (1) and let oil out of housing.2. Remove the bolts (2) that hold cover (3) on the housing (4). Remove the cover. 3. Remove shafts (5) and gears.4. Remove the gears and keys from the shafts. 5. Remove plugs (6) from the cover. 6. Remove the seals from the housing. Remove the bearings from the housing with tool setup (A).7. Remove the two bearings from the cover with tool setup (A).Assemble Circle Reverse Transfer Gear Housing
1. Install the bearings in cover (1) with tool setup (A). Install the two plugs on the outside of the cover.2. Install the bearings in housing (3) with tool setup (A). 3. Install seals (2) in housing (3) with tool setup (B). Make sure the lip of the seal is toward the inside of the housing.4. Install the keys and gears on the shafts with the hubs on the gears toward the cover. 5. Install gears (4) and shafts in the housing.
Be careful not to cause damage to the seals when shafts are being installed in housing.
6. Install the cover and the bolts that hold the cover on the housing. Be sure the shafts and gears turn freely.7. Fill the housing of transfer gear with lubricant. See the LUBRICATION AND MAINTENANCE GUIDE.
