Mounting faces of the hub, wheel nuts, washers, and wheel mounting surfaces must be clean and free of foreign material.
1 - - Before assembly, apply Loctite 270 to the threads.
2 2 344-5674 Nut Torque to 32 to 38 N m (283 to 336 lb in).
3 10 - Use the following procedure to tighten the nut 1 through the nut 10 in the numerical sequence as shown in Illustration 2:
1. Tighten to 200 20 N m (148 15 lb ft).
2. Again, tighten to 580 20 N m (428 15 lb ft).
