Adaptable To: An improved process of torque and turn has been made on the 268-1497 Elbow (A). The new procedure of torque and turn should be applied for all rework and all replacement procedures that would require the assembly and disassembly of the radiator elbow. The procedure of torque and turn is adaptable with the following machines:

(S/N: N4A1-1176)The procedure of torque and turn is effective to the following machines:
(S/N: N1A2973-UP)
(S/N: N4A1177-UP)
Torque 268-1497 Elbow to 10 N m (7.38 lb ft). Apply sealant on the threads of the elbow.
Add one clockwise rotation past maximum torque in order to set the correct orientation.
