1 1 5C-7261 Nut Use the following tightening procedure during wiper arm installation:
1. Tighten the wiper arm nut to 21 1 N m (186 9 lb in).
2. Wait for minimum 0.5 hour to maximum 4 hours.
3. Again, tighten the wiper arm nut to 21 1 N m (186 9 lb in).
Field torque Check:
Tighten the wiper arm nut to 12 N m (106 lb in) minimum.
2 - - Use the following torque to tighten the nut:
1. If mounted in glass, tighten the nut to 5.5 0.5 N m (48.7 4.4 lb in).
2. If mounted in steel, tighten the nut to 9 1 N m (80 9 lb in).
3 - - Use the following torque to tighten the nut:
1. If mounted in glass, tighten the nut to 6.5 0.5 N m (57.5 4.4 lb in).
2. If mounted in steel, tighten the nut to 7.5 0.5 N m (66.4 4.4 lb in).
