Do not disconnect any air lines from the brake control valve until the air pressure is zero.
2. Put identification on all air lines and electric wires as to their location on the brake control valve and the switches. 3. Disconnect air lines (8) and (9) from the brake control valve. Disconnect wires (10) from the pressure indicator switch and the stoplight switch.4. Disconnect spring (4) from pedal (2). Remove cotter pin (3) from pin (1) and bracket (6).5. Remove pin (1) from the bracket and the pedal. Remove three bolts (5).6. Remove brake control valve (7).Install Brake Control Valve (140G & 130G Standard Equipment)
1. Put brake control valve (4) in position on the machine. Install three bolts (5) that hold bracket (1) and the brake control valve to the machine.2. Put pedal (2) in position on bracket (1). Install pin (3) that holds the pedal to the bracket. 3. Install cotter pin (6) in pin (3).4. Connect spring (7) to the bolt in pedal (2).5. Connect air lines (8) and (9) to their correct locations on the brake control valve.6. Connect wires (11) to their correct locations on the stoplight switch. Connect two wires (10) to their correct locatios on the pressure indicator switch.7. Make an adjustment to the screw in the frame under the pedal to get a valve stem movement of .34 .03 in. (8.6 0.8 mm) with the pedal in the "DOWN" position.Disassemble Brake Control Valve (140G & 130G Standard Equipment)
start by: a) remove brake control valve 1. Remove pressure indicator switch (3) and stoplight switch (4) from body (1).2. Remove retainer (2) from the body. 3. Remove piston assembly (6) from the body. Remove O-ring seal (7) from the piston. Remove bolt (8) from the piston.4. Remove the washer, the seat and the rubber spring from the piston. Remove spring (5) from the body. 5. Remove ring (9) that holds seat (10) in the body. Remove the screw, the washer, the diaphragm and the spring from seat (10). Remove seat (10).6. Remove O-ring seal (11) from seat (10). Remove spring (12) and valve (13) from the body. Remove the O-ring seal from the valve.Assemble Brake Control Valve (140G & 130G Standard Equipment)
1. Install O-ring seal (5) on valve (9). Install O-ring seal (8) on seat (3).2. Install spring (4) on seat (3). Put valve (9) in position in seat (3).3. Install spring (7), diaphragm (2) washer (6) and screw (1) in seat (3). 4. Install O-ring seal (10) on piston (13). Put rubber spring (14) in position in the piston.5. Install seat (11), washer (15) and bolt (12) in the piston. 6. Put spring (17) and piston assembly (13) in position in body (16).7. Install retainer (18) on the body.8. Install the pressure indicator switch and the stoplight switch on the body.end by: a) install brake control valve
