TRANSMISSION CONTROL LINKAGE (Serial Number 25K1170-25K2153)
4. Transmission selector lever. 5. Rod for direction control. 6. Rod for speed control. 7. Nut. 8. Nut.
TRANSMISSION CONTROL LINKAGE (Serial Numbers 25K2154-UP)
4. Transmission selector lever. 5. Rod for direction control. 6. Rod for speed control. 7. Nut. 8. Nut.1. Move transmission selection lever (4) to the FORWARD position.2. Remove the cover for the hydraulic controls from the transmission.
ILLUSTRATION C (Detent in the Forward Notch of the Cam)
9. Cam. 10. Detent.3. When transmission selector lever (4) is in the FORWARD position, detent (10) must be fully engaged in the last notch of cam (9) as indicated in ILLUSTRATION C.
ILLUSTRATION D (Direction Selection Spool in the Forward Position)
11. Direction selection spool. Z. Face of selector control valve body.4. If detent (10) is not fully engaged in the last notch of cam (9), loosen nut (7) on the transmission control linkage. Make an adjustment to the length of rod (5) until the detent is fully engaged in the notch. Tighten nut (7).5. In the FORWARD position, the end of direction selection spool (11) must be even with face (Z) of the selector control valve body. See ILLUSTRATION D. If the end of spool (11) is not even with face (Z) of the valve body, loosen the nut at the end of the spool. Turn spool (11) either clockwise or counterclockwise until spool (11) and face (Z) are even. Tighten the nut at the end of the spool.Bench Test Of Transmission Control Lock - Serial Numbers 25K2154-UP
TRANSMISSION CONTROL LOCK
1. Inlet passage for brake pressure oil. 2. Sleeve. 3. Drain passage. 4. Rail (connected to direction selection spool). 5. Detent. 6. Nut (connected to direction cable from cab).1. Send a pressure of 650 psi (45.7 kg/cm2) through passage (1).2. With a pressure of 650 psi (45.7 kg/cm2) into passage (1), shift rail (4) must move a distance of .50 in. (12.7 mm) in either direction with less than 2 lb. (0.9 kg) of force applied at the shift rail.3. Lower the pressure at passage (1) to 350 psi (24.6 kg/cm2).4. With a pressure of 350 psi (24.6 kg/cm2) in passage (1), shift rail (4) must move a distance of .50 in. (12.7 mm) in either direction against the force of the springs for detent (5) and sleeve (2). When shift rail (4) is released, it must return to its NEUTRAL position by the force of the springs.Linkage Adjustments - Serial Numbers 25K1170-25K2153
TRANSMISSION CONTROL LINKAGE (Serial Number 25K1170-25K2153) 1. Selector lever.2. Collar.3. Cap.4. Rack.5. Housing assembly.6. Safety lever.7. Column.8. Lever.9. Cable.10. Rod.11. Link.12. Channel.13. Rod end.14. Rod end.15. Rod end.16. Speed control lever.17. Channel.18. Direction control lever.19. Rod end.20. Cable.21. Rod.22. Bellcrank.23. Rod.1. Put safety lever (6) in the UP position.2. Remove cap (3) from housing assembly (5).3. Turn selector lever (1) counterclockwise until rack (4) is even with the top of housing assembly (5).4. Make an adjustment to rod (10) so a line through the center of the pin hole in the rod is 2.20
