The air cleaner may be installed by the Original Equipment Manufacture (OEM). Refer to the OEM for instruction on how to remove the element within the air cleaner.When replacing the element, if a duel element is installed both elements must be replaced.Typical Example of an Air Cleaner

Ensure that the body of the air cleaner is clean before removing the filter element.
Remove the end cover (1) from body (3). Remove the air cleaner element from body (3) and discard the filter element.
Ensure that inner body of air cleaner is clean and free from dirt. Install new filter element.
Ensure that end cover (1) and valve (2) are clean and free from dirt. Install the end cover securely. When installed, ensure the valve (2), is in the vertically down position.Note: If equipped, the air cleaner service indicator must be checked and reset.
