Any BG-225, BG-225B, BG-240, BG-240B,BG-245, BG-245B, BG-260, BG-260B, BG-265, BG-265B, or BG-270B Asphalt PaversManufactured By Barber-Greene that do not have a Caterpillar Serial NumberPlate may also need to be reworked if they are equipped with an 816B Extend-A-MatScreed or a 1020B Extend-A-Mat Screed. Owners of the Barber-Greene Paversrequiring this rework will call their local Caterpillar Dealer to havethe work performed under this program. Some older Caterpillar machines may nothave the Model 10X20B screed installed, in this case the Service Letterwill not apply. Machine records do not indicate which machines have beenconverted to the Model 10X20B screeds and the entire population of 1HDand 1JG machines was included in this Service Letter. During removal of the Switch box themountings screws may twist off and will have to be drilled out and newscrews installed.PARTS NEEDED
