Conveyor Controls
Standard control panel is shown in drawing A. Optional control panel is shown in drawing B. Refer to the drawing that matches your control panel.1. On/Off Control - Move the control to ON and the conveyor starts operation. Move the control to OFF and the conveyor stops.2. Swing Control - Move the control to LEFT and the upper conveyor discharge end swings toward the left side of the machine. Move the control to RIGHT and the upper conveyor discharge end swings toward the right side of the machine.3. Elevation Control - Move the control to LOWER and the upper conveyor discharge end moves downward. Move the control to RAISE and the upper conveyor discharge end rises. Conveyor Drive Pressure Gauge (4.) - Shows the hydraulic pressure in the conveyor drive system chosen with selector above gauge. Normal pressure is 0 to 20 685 kPa (0 to 3000 psi) in either system. 5. Ground Level Swing Control (If Equipped) - Move the control to L and the upper conveyor discharge end swings toward the left side of the machine. Move the control to R and the upper conveyor discharge end swings toward the right side of the machine.
Use of conveyor swing control (2) and ground level conveyor swing control (5) at the same time may cause erratic conveyor swing response. Personal injury could result. Use only one of the two controls at a time.
6. Upper Conveyor Speed Control (If Equipped) - Turn the control clockwise to increase the conveyor speed. Turn the control counterclockwise to decrease the conveyor speed.Cutter Control
To prevent personal injury or death, keep this control locked at OFF except when operating the cutter.

Move the control to OFF and the cutter is disengaged.Moldboard Controls

Raise/Lower Control - Move the control to LOWER and the moldboard will move downward. Move the control to RAISE and the moldboard will rise. Move the control to FLOAT and the moldboard will "float" on the cut grade to keep the grade free of rubble. 2. Float Pressure Control (If Equipped) - Located inside the control console. Turn the control clockwise and the downward pressure on the moldboard is increased. Turn the control counterclockwise and the downward pressure on the moldboard is decreased. Follow the procedures under "Adjust Moldboard Float Pressure (If Equipped)" in the "Operating Adjustments" section when using this control.Water Spray System Controls
1. Spraybar On/Off Control - Located in the front of the engine cowling. Move the control to ON and water sprays onto the cutter and (if equipped) the lower conveyor. Move the control to OFF
