ACTION REQUIRED
Verify if the bolt (2) under the operator platform is missing. If so, loosen the 3 installed bolts (1) in order to ease the installation of the fourth one. Put in place and tight the bolt to a torque of 460 +/- 60 Nm. Then, re-tighten the 3 loosened bolts to a torque of 460 +/- 60 Nm. Refer to the attached pictures for detail.

Dear Caterpillar Product Owner:
The four post ROPS needs to be reworked on the products listed below. The existing four post ROPS can be missing the fourth bolt on the rear posts from under the operator platform. In case of machine roll over, it may result in personal injury or death. You will not be charged for the service performed.
Contact your local Caterpillar dealer immediately to schedule this service. The dealer will advise you of the time required to complete this service.
Please refer the dealer to their Service Letter dated 04Apr2008 when scheduling this service.
