3 1 0S-0484 Bolt Use the following procedure to tighten the bolt:
Before installing the drive gear onto the drive shaft assembly, clean the shaft and clean the bore of the gear with isopropyl alcohol.
1. Tap on the drive gear to seat the taper of the drive gear.
2. Tighten the bolt to 100 20 N m (74 15 lb ft).
3. Repeat Step 1 and Step 2 until the torque does not change.
