(4AR) Off-Highway TrucksDescription of Change: A new aftercooler connecting tube is available which relocates the rear aftercooler temperature sensor away from the heat of the exhaust manifold. This will extend the service life of the sensor and reduce the possibility of damage to it with an exhaust leak. The new rear aftercooler tube is dimensionally the same but may need some change in the wiring harness routing to make connection to the sensor. The harness should be clipped as necessary to prevent damage due to vibration.
Adaptable To: The new 161-7088 Tube Assembly replaces the former 122-3192 Tube Assembly and is adaptable to 793B (1HL1-UP) Off-Highway Trucks. The new 161-3236 Tube Assembly replaces the former 122-3192 Tube Assembly; effective with 793C (4AR396) and adaptable to earlier models.
