Tractors, 777 TrucksDescription of Change: A new oil level gauge assembly is used on 776 Tractors and 777 Trucks. The new gauge has several bends in it, so the gauge is in contact with the inside of the tube assembly. The former gauge assembly fits loosely in the tube assembly. This loose fit permitted vibration of the gauge assembly, which at times caused the tube to wear through the cap of the gauge.
Adaptable As: The new 2W131 Oil Level Gauge Assembly is a direct replacement for the former 4N5055 Oil Level Gauge Assembly. The former gauge assembly has been canceled.
