The engine harness and the connections for the battery cable at the starting motor have been improved. A new boot has been introduced for both the 12 V system 308-3671 Boot and the 24 V system 308-3672 Boot. Use of the new boot provides a more consistent shroud at the positive connection of the starting motor.This improvement makes the connections more reliable. This improvement will improve the fit of the battery cable at the boot of the starting motor. Splicing technology has been used on the harness for the control panel for several years. Splicing technology provides a safe method of joining cables.In order to improve the installation of harness connections, the battery cable at the boot on the negative terminal at the starting motor will be removed.
