The corrected article follows.New actuators for the turbocharger compressor bypass valve are available for the engines that are used in the generator sets that are listed above. Design changes have been performed in order to achieve the following improvements:
Improvements have been made to the adhesive process for the magnet assembly inside the actuator. The process controls the amount of adhesive that is applied to the magnet assembly. A curing process is then performed on the adhesive coating.
A newly designed isolation barrier has been internally placed between the electronic module and the actuator assembly. This will allow the actuator to be more resistant to vibration and temperature.
An additional coating has been applied to the internal electronic components in order to improve the reliability of the circuits.When a new actuator is purchased, a new harness is required in order to connect the new actuator to the old engine harness.Table 1 lists the former parts and the new parts for the new compressor bypass actuators.
