Slide assembled bracket and cushion (29) through the slot in the top cover and install the 8R-3695 Grommets into the top cover. Refer to Illustration19.Note: The 8R-3695 Grommets are part of the 361-6293 Control Wiring Gp .

(31) 7X-0578 Hard Washer (32) 253-8798 Knob (33) 285-8017 Film Note: The knob (32) and washer (31) are reinstalled from earlier.
Apply 285-8016 Film (33) to the top cover. Assemble 7X-0578 Hard Washer (31) to 253-8798 Knob (32). Insert the knob through the hole in the cover in order to secure the assembled cushion and bracket. Refer to Illustration 20.

(10) Clip (21) Harness
Press the fore/aft adjustment knob (E) and collapse the slide. Use clip (10) from remaining from removal process to secure wiring harness (21). Install the clip over the green tape on the harness. Secure the clip to the rear bolt of the bracket. Install the clip at a 15 degree angle. Refer to Illustration 21.Installation of Control and Mounting Group

Attach the assembled support and control to the right side of the seat assembly. Use the bolts, washers, and spacers that were originally removed from the seat. Refer to Illustration 22.

Use one 1S-0994 Clip (40), one 8T-4189 Bolt (41), and one 8T-4224 Hard Washer (42) to secure the wiring harness loosely to the boss on the seat base. Install the clip over the green tape on the wiring harness. Refer to Illustration 23.

Use two 1S-0994 Clips (43), two 127-2170 Screws (44), and two 3E-4352 Hard Washers (45) to secure wiring harness to plate assembly (48). Install the clips over the green tape on the wiring harness.
Install 4P-8134 Clip (46) with one 127-2170 Screw (44) and one 3E-4352 Hard Washer (45). Use one 7K-1181 Cable Strap (47) to secure the wiring harness plugs to clip (46). Refer to Illustration 24
Tighten all fasteners.
Reattach the wiring harness connectors that were detached at location (A) and location (B). Refer to Illustration 2.Software Configuration and Calibration of the Control Lever and Valve
Note: This feature is a configurable feature that must be activated with PSPS or a service tool.Note: The implement for the third function must be available so that this installation procedure may be completed. This procedure is necessary so that final calibration of the control lever and fourth valve may be completed.

Using Caterpillar Electronic Technician (ET), and select the proper Electronic Control Module.
Select "SERVICE" from the menu.
Select "CONFIGURATION" from the menu.
Double click on the desired feature on the configuration screen.
Select the desired status
