Remove the fan. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fan - Remove and Install". Note: Put identification marks on all hose assemblies, on all tube assemblies and on all wire harnesses for installation purposes. Plug all hose assemblies and all tube assemblies. This helps to prevent fluid loss and this helps to prevent contaminants from entering the system.

The V-belts are under tension from the spring. If the wrench slips while releasing the belt tension, personal injury may result. Be sure the wrench is properly engaged with the belt tightener.
Use Tooling (A) in order to release the tension on belt tightener (1). Remove belts (2).

Disconnect grease hose assembly (3).

Disconnect harness assembly (4).

Disconnect hose assemblies (5) and hose assembly (6).

Attach a suitable lifting device onto fan pulley (7). The weight of fan pulley (7) is approximately 35 kg (77 lb).
Remove bolts (8). Remove fan pulley (7).

Attach a suitable lifting device onto fan drive (9). The weight of fan drive (9) is approximately 61 kg (135 lb).
Remove bolts (10). Remove fan drive (9).
