1. Lift the bucket until the lower pin (3) is in position in front of the track assembly as shown.2. Put tooling (A) in position under the lift arms for support. Move the control lever to lower the weight of the lift arms and bucket on tooling (A).3. Tilt the bucket forward until the cutting edge is in contact with the floor.4. Remove the grease fittings from pins (2) and (4).5. If necessary, use tool (B) to clean the threads in pins (1), (3) and (4). Use tool (C) to clean the threads in pin (2).6. Remove the bolts and nuts that hold pins (1), (2), (3) and (4) in position. 7. Fasten a hoist to link assembly (5). Use tooling (D) to remove the pins and remove link assembly (5). The weight of the link assembly is 75 lb. (34 kg). 8. Put pin (1) in position and install the bolt and nut to hold it. Fasten a hoist to pin (1). 9. Fasten a hoist to the tilt cylinder rod. Use tooling (E) to remove the rod pin from the lever assemblies. Lower the cylinder rod to the frame. Blocks can be used to hold the tilt cylinder in position when the rod pin is removed if a second hoist is not available. 10. Use tooling (D) to remove the lower hinge pin and remove lever assemblies (6) and (7) as a unit. The weight of the unit is 200 lb. (90 kg).Install Front Links And Levers
1. Install the upper pin to hold lever assemblies (1) and (2) together. Make sure the bolt and nut that hold the upper pin is installed. 2. Fasten a hoist and put lever assemblies (1) and (2) in position as shown. 3. Install tool (A) in the end of the lower pin (3). Install lower pin (3) with the bolt hole in the pin in alignment with the hole in the pin boss of lever assembly (2).4. Install the bolt and nut to hold pin (3). Install the grease fitting in pin (3).5. Install tool (B) in the end of pin (4). Put the tilt cylinder rod in position and install pin (4). Make sure the bolt hole in the pin is in alignment with the hole in the lever assembly. 6. Install the bolt and nut to hold pin (4). Install the grease fitting in pin (4). 7. Fasten a hoist to link assembly (5) and put it in position. Use tool (A) and install pins (6) and (7) as shown. Make sure the bolt holes in the pins are in alignment with the holes in the lever assemblies. 8. Install bolts (8) and the nuts to hold pins (6) and (7).9. Put clean grease in the pins.
