Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the removal procedure, clean the exterior of the component thoroughly. Cleaning the exterior will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.
Move the machine to a hard level surface away from operating machines and away from personnel.
Engage the parking brake. Place wheel blocks in front of the wheels and behind the wheels.
Stop the engine.
Connect the steering frame lock. Refer toDisassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect."
Turn the key start switch and the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position. If there is no battery disconnect switch, remove the negative battery cable at the battery.Procedure
Indicator and Brake Light Filter Harness - Install

Remove the nut (1), retain, and discard the washer. Install 116-0118 Clip (3) using nut (1) and 9X-2038 Washer (2). Refer to Illustration 1.
Remove bolt (5), and clip (4) retain with washers and nut. Install 130-5300 Clip (4) on both the inside and outside of assembly along with clip (4) previously removed using bolt (5), washers and nut. Install 440-2699 Connector Receptacle As (7) to inside clip (4). Refer to Illustration 1.
Remove bolt (6) and retain. Install 116-0118 Clip (3) using bolt (6). Refer to Illustration 1.

Install 440-2699 Connector Receptacle As (7) to clip. Install 460-4086 Wiring Harness (8) to Item (7) and then connect to the indicator harness and rear light harness. Install 440-2702 Wiring Harness (9) to rear light harness and brake light harness. Refer to Illustration 2.

Install remaining end of harness (11) to 440-2699 Connector Receptacle As (12). Refer to Illustration 3.

Repeat Step1 through to Step 6 for installation of Filter Harness to left side of Rear Light Assembly.
