REGULATOR AS-AUTOMATIC VOLTAGE 7C1600 - Caterpillar

Remove both 326-4341 Hose As (C) and 326-4342 Hose As (B) from filter base assembly
Remove two 6V-8642 Connectors (K) and two 9S-4190 O-Ring Plugs (L) from the filter base assembly.

Reinstall the 6V-8642 Connectors (K ) and the 9S-4190 O-Ring Plugs (L) on the opposite sides of the filter base.
Install new 397-0641 Hose As (M) and 397-0642 Hose As (N) with the hose couplings pointing straight down. Refer to Illustration 8.

Reinstall Plate assembly (J), filter plate base, and hoses on the machine using the bolts and washers (I) removed in Step 11

Connect 397-0641 Hose As. (M) to the fuel tank.

Route 397-0642 Hose As. (N) through the grommet in shield and connect to engine.

Remove bolt and washer (O) from fan motor support.
Add 192-5017 Bracket As (P) and reinstall bolt and washer (O) .
Secure hoses to bracket (P) using 8T-4136 Bolt, a washer, and two 6D-4244 Clips (D) .

Reconnect connector (A) to the WIF sensor
Constrain the wire with 3S-2093 Cable Strap as needed.

Remove 8T-4189 Bolt and washer (Q) from shield.
Add 124-3019 Bracket As (R) and reinstall Bolt and Washer (Q) .
Install 130-5300 Clip to Bracket As (R) using 8T-4191 Bolt (T) and 7X-7729 Washer .

Reinstall Connector (E) on Clip and reconnect to chassis harness.
Reconnect Connector (F) to the chassis harness.
Install connector (G) on Clip (S) and reconnect to chassis harness.

Bundle the excess wire on solenoid with 3S-2093 Cable Strap (U) .

Adjust the routing of the chassis harness (V) as necessary to provide sufficient clearance between the harness (V) and the bracket (R). This step may require additional 2 to 4 Tie straps if any are removed to adjust the harness
