The problem that is identified in the technical information bulletin that follows does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution that is identified below.Problem
The filters of the air cleaner clog within a short time period on the machines working at a dusty environment. The clogged air cleaner may result in various machine failures.Solution
Carefully read and understand the Operation and Maintenance Manual, Engine Air Filter Primary Element – Clean/Replace of your machine for the correct maintenance and frequency.Especially obey the following items:
Do not use the filter with damaged pleats, gasket, or seals.
Do not clean the filter by tapping, striking, bumping, or washing.
Replace the filter after the filter has been cleaned six times or at least one time per year.
Pressurized air cleaning can be used for the filter that has not been cleaned more than two times.
Pressurized air pressure must not exceed 207 kPa (30.0 psi).
Vacuum cleaning can be used for the filter that requires daily cleaning because of a dry, dusty environment.
The filter must be inspected for tears and/or holes after cleaning.
