Servicing and changing tires and rims can be dangerous. This work must be done only by trained personnel with correct tools and procedures. If correct procedures are not followed while servicing tires and rims, the assemblies can burst with explosive force and cause serious physical injury or death. Follow carefully the specification information provided by your tire servicing person or dealer.
Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, Prepare the Machine for Maintenance.

Use Tooling (A) to raise the rear of the machine. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Jacking Locations - Rear of the Machine".

Use Tooling (B) to remove nuts (2) and the washers. Do not remove four of nuts (2) that are equally spaced and approximately 90 degrees apart in order to keep tire and rim (3) in position on the wheel.
Disconnect bracket (1).
The weight of the tire and rim can vary significantly depending on the tire and rim configuration
Use a suitable tire handler to support tire and rim (3). The weight of tire and rim (3) is approximately 8618 kg (19000 lb).
Remove the remaining nuts (2) and the washers that retain the tire and rim.
Remove tire and rim (3).

Remove brackets (5) and guards (6).

Ensure that adapters are clear of the M16 socket head bolts when removing. Adapters can catch on the socket head bolts and damage the wheel flange.
Attach Tooling (C) and a suitable lifting device onto upper rim adapter (7A). The weight of upper rim adapter (7A) is approximately 323 kg (712 lb). Remove bolts (8). Remove upper rim adapter (7A).

Attach Tooling (C) and a suitable lifting device onto both sides of lower rim adapter (7B). The weight of upper rim adapter (7B) is approximately 323 kg (712 lb). Remove bolts (8). Remove lower rim adapter (7B).
Alternatively, Use a suitable fork truck to position Tooling (D) onto lower rim adapter (7B). The weight of lower rim adapter (7B) is approximately 323 kg (712 lb). Remove bolts (8). Remove lower rim adapter (7B).
