If either drive wheel begins to spin, the TCS can increase the power that is sent to the wheel that has better traction. This is done by applying the parking brake of the wheel that has less traction. The TCS is functional at ground speeds under 19 km/h (12 mph).Operation
The TCS is installed as part of the parking brake system. The parking brakes are applied by springs and released hydraulically.
