3 1 265-1113 Piston Ring The ends of the spring coil should be placed 180 degrees from the end gap of the oil control piston rings. The colored stripe in the spring coil must be visible at the oil control piston ring end gap.

Width (B) of the groove in the piston is 4.052 0.012 mm (0.1595 0.0005 inch).

- After installing the piston rings, rotate the piston rings so that the end gaps are placed at 120 degrees distance from each other.
Lubricate the entire piston to 360 degrees in zone (C) prior to assembly into the cylinder block. Use clean engine oil.
