Auxiliary Hydraulic Controller
Introduction
The auxiliary hydraulic controller sends the main controller a programmable engine speed dial setting. It also sends a predefined pressure setting to the negative flow control port of the main hydraulic pumps. This assures the attachment tool being used will receive the optimum engine speed and hydraulic flow. The auxiliary hydraulic controller may be used to set limits on engine speed and pump flow. The auxiliary hydraulic controller requires manual programming and is capable of storing parameters for four different tools. This allows a qualified service technician to set up a machine for the specific work functions and tools to be used.Operation
Left side of machine (Compartment for auxillary hydraulic controller). The auxillary hydraulic controller has the following operating modes: * Inactive Mode: Controller is not operating. In this mode the controller will display all of the settings corresponding to the four working modes.* Active mode: While in the active mode the controller is operating. The display will show the selected working mode. The active mode is in effect when ever a hydraulic attachment control switch is depressed. These may be on the right or left equipment control lever or be foot switches.* Programming mode: This mode allows the manual setting of the program functions for each of the attachment tools (up to four). When the controller is energized the first information displayed is the version of the equipped controller. Any major changes (software or hardware) that will affect the operation of the controller will result in the incrementation of the digit to the left of the period. Minor changes will result in the incrementation of the two digits to the right of the period.
Auxillary Hydraulic Controller
(17) Display. (6 character). (18) ADVANCE (arrow) key. (19) ENTER key. (20) + Key. (21) - Key.Inactive mode
While in the inactive mode the controller will display all the settings corresponding to the four working modes. Each working mode consists of the following settings:1. Number of hours the machine has operated in the working mode. The first digit indicates the number assigned to the active working mode. The second digit shows an "h" indicating hours. The last four digital positions are the number of hours. This setting can not be edited.2. Operating engine speed. The first digit indicates the number assigned to the active working mode. The second digit shows an "E" indicating engine speed. The third and fourth digital positions indicate engine speed setting. This setting makes the engine run at a speed equal to one of the ten positions of the engine speed dial when the hydraulic attachment circuit is activated. During hydraulic attachment circuit operation, the engine will operate at the lesser of the two speeds set by the auxiliary hydraulic controller and the engine speed dial. The operator should always have the engine speed dial set at least to the engine speed setting for the active working mode. The fifth character position indicates an "H" for high flow mode when the rabbit side of the hydraulic attachment switch (5) is
