(4) Manual override switch The Manual Override switch (4) is used to place the machine into manual mode and overrides the remote control system. To place the machine back into remote control mode once the manual override mode is entered, this switch must first be placed in the remote position and then the user must cycle the Manual/Remote Mode switch on the ground level service center.Note: When the Manual Override switch is in the remote override (manual) position, the remote control ECM remains powered. The Manual Override switch is identified with a red rectangle surrounding the switch. The red identification makes the switch more easily seen when needed. The switch is a two-position rocker switch. The switch has ten contacts. When the switch is in the Manual position, contact 2 and contact 3 are connected, and contact 5 and contact 6 are connected. When in the Remote position contact 2 and contact 1 are connected, and contact 5 and contact 4 are connected. Contact 7 and contact 9 are used to control the manual LED in the Switch. Contact 10 and Contact 8 are used to control the Remote LED in the switch. The LEDs are built in multimeters. If Manual LED is lit, the RC System is powered. If the "Remote" LED is lit, the indication system should be powered (Blue indicator on RMEE should be lit or flashing).
