Check green LED indicator (5) is illuminated. Expected Result:Green LED indicator (5) is illuminated.Results:
YES - Green LED indicator is illuminated. Proceed to Test Step 6.
NO - Green LED indicator is not illuminated. Proceed to Test Step 3.Test Step 3. CHECK VOLTAGE BETWEEN PIN 1 AND PIN 2
Disconnect the cable from proximity switch (4).

Measure the voltage between pin 1 (8) and pin 2 (7). Expected Result:Measure 24 V between pin 1 (8) and pin 2 (7).Results:
YES - Measured 24 V between pin 1 and pin 2.Repair: Replace proximity switch (4).STOP
NO - Did not measure 24 V between pin 1 and pin 2. Proceed to Test Step 4.Test Step 4. CHECK VOLTAGE AT THE PERSONNEL BARRIER CONNECTION AT THE BARRIER CONTROL PANEL
Disconnect the personnel barrier cable from BCP (1).

Check the voltage output between pin 1 and pin 2 at BCP (1). Expected Result:Measure 24 V between pin 1 and pin 2 at BCP (1).Results:
YES - Measured 24 V between pin 1 and pin 2 at the BCP.Repair: Replace the cable between proximity switch (4) and BCP (1)STOP
NO - Did not measure 24 V between pin 1 and pin 2 at the BCP. Proceed to Test Step 5.Test Step 5. CHECK CIRCUIT BREAKER 5 IN THE BARRIER CONTROL PANEL

Check that circuit breaker 5 (9) is tripped. Expected Result:Circuit breaker 5 (9) is tripped.Results:
YES - Circuit breaker 5 is tripped. Proceed to Test Step 6.
NO - Circuit breaker 5 is not tripped.Repair: Proceed to Troubleshooting, Testing, and Adjusting, "Barrier Control Panel Power Circuit - Test"STOPTest Step 6. CHECK THAT CIRCUIT BREAKER 5 RESETS
Reset circuit breaker 5 (9). Expected Result:Circuit breaker 5 resets (9).Results:
YES - Circuit breaker 5 resets. Proceed to Test Step 7.
NO - Circuit breaker 5 does not reset.Repair: Replace circuit breaker 5 (9).If circuit breaker 5 (9) continues to trip, replace BCP (1).STOPTest Step 7. CHECK THAT THE ACTUATOR ACTIVATES THE PROXIMITY SWITCH
Open and close the barrier to check that actuator (3) activates proximity switch (4). Expected Result:Yellow LED indicator (6) is illuminated when the barrier is closed and is not illuminated when the barrier is open.Results:
YES - Yellow LED indicator is illuminated when the barrier is closed and is not illuminated when the barrier is open. Proceed to Test Step 8.
NO - Yellow LED indicator did not illuminate when the barrier is closed.Repair: Replace proximity switch (4) and actuator (3).STOP
NO - Yellow LED indicator is illuminated when the barrier is open.Repair: Replace proximity switch (4) and actuator (3).STOPTest Step 8. CHECK BCP DIGITAL INPUT INDICATORS
